Yah hard to make judgements about the graphics cause of the motion blur, but the cars look pretty incredible. So 1080p???....just kidding like that matters.

Or perhaps someone who saw the HD MGS4 trailer at E3, and than saw this would notice the huge difference.
Sure it looks fantastic, but so does Splinter Cell and other games coming out in 2007. This ISN'T the same as the HD cutscene in MGS4 at E306.

Hey I may be slightly dissapointed with some aspects of the graphics but one thing I am digging is the lighting.
It's amazing how accurate they're portraying each shade, shape, and brightness of the lights. Just watch his gun as moves through the level, the rusty metal on the gun bounce green, red, yellow light off of it. Pretty cool stuff. You got to see a little of that in prey, but this is a big leap from that.
Look it's a little more serious than the Wii being a gimmic machine or a couple year console.
If nintendo can't sell above and well beyond the gamecube they said they would stop making consoles. That's very crucial, and by the looks of it I'm thinking their gonna break even.

Look even peter moore admitted that nintendo was going to be 2nd at best. because he understands that the gimmic and hype behind this console isn't going to carry through for more than a couple years.
The wii remote isn't long term practical. Sure a party gag, an occasional flick of the wrist, but NOT a SOLID CONSOLE. Which is what people invest a few hundred bucks for. Now if the wii were 100 bucks, I'd say it'd sell because you get good value.

I'm only happy about MS doing 1080p because it means that HDMI is coming sooner than expected. But more importantly this will put to rest all those ps3 fanboys who used this argument against the 360. EVEN thought 1080p shouldn't be an issue for GAMERS.

Microsoft will never leave japan, it's their duty to get those japanese developers to jump ship or go multiplatform. Their not leaving.
What you guys have to understand is that the CONSUMERS, not the companies decide which format they want. Just as easy as BR or HD-DVD companies are on one side, they can jump ship without missing a beat.
Normal consumers aren't going to walk into best buy and say, hey you know what blu-ray has more company support so I'm gonna buy their 500 or 1000 dollar player. Your dead wrong, it's the techies who take the 50-50 chance. As for the other 99% of the population, they'll wait...
